World Brain Day
World Brain Day is an initiative of the World Federation of Neurology (WFN), held on July 22nd each year. This year, WFN has chosen to focus attention on Parkinson’s Disease. "Parkinson’s Disease is a neurodegenerative brain disease that affects more than 7 million people of all ages worldwide. Parkinson’s can impact movement and almost all aspects of brain function".
Let's all look out for each other and no matter what brain disease, be it Alzheimer's, Dementia, Depression, sleep disorders, etc, let's be mindful and helpful towards each other.
Our charity has links to charities/societies that can help with some of the above diseases, so if you are struggling and need help, be it because you suffer from any brain disease or care for someone who does, please do get in touch!
