Here we are in November or Movember, as it is known.
This is the month when all the brave and selfless men around the world grow a moustache, and women step up to support them, all to raise awareness and funds for men's health - specifically prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Did you know: Prostate Cancer
Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men in the UK. https://prostatecanceruk.org Testicular Cancer

1st of August marks Yorkshire Day, a day in which proud Yorkshire folk celebrate their heritage.
It started back in the 1970s as a response to local government reorganisation, but has morphed into more of a general day where people can get together and say ‘ay up’ to their fellow Yorkshiremen and women. #cbft #ciaranbinghamfoundationtrust #socialisolation #spreadkindnessnotvirus
A little bit of information for the public. Let's support each other no matter the circumstances . Some people are having a hard time as it is on their own, so let's raise awareness of the below and be conscious of our dealings with people on a daily basis, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, etc. #Repost @sunflowerlanyardscheme

"I protested shoulder to shoulder with my lesbian, gay, bissexual and transgender [siblings] for the right to be validated and treated like a person. I wasn't a second class citizen then and won't be treated like one now." - quote by Stonewall vet and trans activist #YvonneRitter in 1994. HAPPY GLOBAL PRIDE day to the LGBTQ+ community around the world. Live your truth, be proud of who you are, never apologise for being you! #cbft #ciaranbinghamfoundationtrust #socialisolation
"Not all disabilities are visible – some are not immediately obvious, such as learning difficulties, mental health as well as mobility, speech, visual or hearing impairments. Living with a hidden disability can make daily life more demanding for many people, but it can be difficult for others to recognise, acknowledge or understand the challenges you face."

As we approach the end of #VolunteersWeek, we wanted to say A BIG THANK YOU to all of our Volunteers!
Most of our volunteers have continued to help throughout lockdown, by either shopping, collecting medication, collecting donations and delivering food parcels and much more.
These have not been easy times but you have all adapted and showed up for our members, with smiles and love in your hearts.
We couldn't do it without you!
