Introducing the Ciaran Bingham Foundation Trust Ball
The first ever Ciaran Bingham Foundation Trust Glamorous Black Tie Ball will take place on June 2nd at The Marriot Hotel and Leeds City Magazine are delighted to announce that we’ll be the official media partners, helping to promote the event and to raise awareness for the charity.
The night will be a fantastic opportunity to raise money for the Ciaran Bingham Foundation Trust, as well as being a great chance to enjoy yourself with all guests treated to a VIP red carpet arrival, a fizz reception, a 3 course meal with wine, live entertainment and lots more surprises for just £40.
We’re also happy to announce that Leeds born singer Tom Bleasby will be performing at the ball. Tom, who rose to fame by performing on X Factor and duetting with Jessie J on The Ellen Show, told us “It’s an important cause. Loneliness can really creep up on people, especially as you get older and I think it’s important that we offer a hand so they’re not alone.”
All profits from the ball will go to the Ciaran Bingham Foundation Trust and some sponsorship opportunities are still available. They were set up in 2012 and quickly the charity identified social isolation among older people as a major issue in Leeds. Through regular events in different venues across Leeds, the charity are helping elderly people all over the South Leeds area. The charity has established a popular Sunday Lunch Club, their Cafe and hosts a 1940’s evening complete with a singing war time female trio.
Their work is vital in making sure everyone in the South Leeds area is looked after. To donate, please get in touch by visiting their website at www.cbft.co.uk
